MSFC 8-1 Interactive Data

Yes, Morningstar 8 (E-I-G-H-T-!) Interactive 1

A massive (indeed record-setting) thrashing handed out by the M* boys.

What an awesome game last Friday, Morningstar 8 - Data Shambles 1. I have been informed that this is the highest score we've achieved so far so well done to the boys. Not only did you guys achieve this brilliant score but there was also major improvement on the fashion side of things and hats off to Jamie Donovan for looking less like B&Q. Are there any suggestions in terms of design for our new jerseys? If not, shall I come with a fresh modern design for the team...given my background in fashion, I think I could come up with a few designs for you guys to choose...let me know if you'd like this.

So, on to the game;

1st half

The Crow was on best form throughout the match. His flexibility, amazing hand techniques and sheer brilliance of guarding his ball net was just a pure delighted to watch. Not only did he provide us with a great match, the crows were caw caw-ing away to his stamina, performance and devilish good looks.

Our first goal came from our very own scoring Supremo of the day, Ed Hart, who wonderfully scored with graceful ease and total professionalism. Soon after, Data Shambles tried to score but the Crow deflected the ball from his net and they wimper away. Moments later, all eyes were on Paul Newby running down the pitch and mysteriously tripping over nothing, sending him crashing down and looking slightly bewildered.....I think we all were looking slightly bewildered as well...seconds past and we still did not get it!

2nd half

Not long after kick-off in the 2nd half, Ed Hart scored our second goal and this is where Shambles started to notice that they were probably not on par with Morningstar. Chris Elliot does a great tackle and almost scores but misses his chance. He almost almost scores again but his little legs could not reach the ball in time but it was a great attempt from Elliott. Data Shambles score their first and ONLY goal of the day.

Jamie Donovan, with much improvement in the wardrobe department, scored our 3rd goal and this is to be noted, there was a great pass form Ed Hart to Jamie (the best I've seen so far) and Jamie nearly scores from that pass.

The formidable force of Scott MacDonald comes on pitch and scores our 4th goal, followed by a fifth and sixth goal from Ed Hart. To be honest, it was pretty much plain sailing from here, what with Data Shambles over ambitious goalie leaving the goal area, giving Paul Newby a goal, followed by Jamie who finished off with our 8th goal.

It was a very good and skillful game from the Morningstar boys and one we are very proud of.
